OLS is committed to making learning enjoyable.  We offer a wide range of in-school and after-school activities that enhance the academic program, including spiritual work, athletics and arts programs, clubs and special events.  There is a high participation rate from the student body, with corresponding support and interest from many parents as well.

Arts Programs

To complement the arts program in the curriculum, OLS offers students many extra-curricular opportunities to develop their artistic talents.  These programs include:

• Band – lessons in clarinet, trumpet, sax, bells, drums, flute  and violin offered weekly throughout the year by Paul Effman Band Service
• Spring Musical – Auditions in January for musical in May.  Grades 5 and up may participate.
