Our Lady of Sorrows School has long been a pioneer in using technology to supplement its curriculum. OLS was the first school in White Plains to equip every classroom with Smartboards, allowing the faculty to integrate information from the internet into the classroom instantaneously – truly enabling global learning.
Beginning with Kindergarten, each grade’s curriculum is enriched by technology resources. Students have the opportunity, under the guidance and direction of a teacher, to explore the vast wealth of information available online.
Continuing to recognize the importance of technology in education, we incorporate the use of iPads or Chromebooks in all our classrooms. They are used for interactive presentations, research and note taking. Age appropriate applications offer myriad opportunities for learning. Every classroom is equipped with iMac computers, printers and scanners. All workstations have wireless Internet access to appropriate educational sites.
